Yeah, not my thing
Compated to the first MOH, this game is just too frustrating, and not really all that fun.

Impressive for its age
Its got some hit detection issues sometimes but the overall graphic and attention to detail are impressive for its age. Having a good time.

Highly recommended game
My grandfather fought in the pacific. Whoever created this game knew what they were doing. It is incredibly accurate

The Pacific Theater WWII Game
This is the best World War II game set in the pacific theater. Pros You get to see tactics used by the Japanese in the war - pretending to be dead, kamikaze, camouflage in bushes, snipers in trees, bonzai charges The medical/health system is different. You have a limited number health packs from the medic which is used to heal you or revive you. The medic starts off "green" and pukes when healing you. Eventually after gaining experience he stops. The developers seemed to take Pacific Assault in a more grounded or realistic direction. There's aim down sights which is a first for the Medal of Honor series. MGs have punch to them - they shake and blur your vision. In certain parts you get concussed which adds to immersion. There is weapon sway. If you die standing in the river you will hear yourself choking on the water when you die. When going prone your camera shakes and you move a bit as your body reacts to the force of hitting the ground. Your squad will start to look more rugged. The Japanese are known to target medics and your medic covers the cross on his helmet. All these details add so much to this game compared to any other Medal of Honor in the series. See allies doing arm movements. Allies react to how you're doing - fall back, push forward, low health. Allies comment on what you do some. Main menu is a 3D menu along with radio that plays music, news reports, etc. Cons Ladders still suck Bonzai charges can stunlock you if there are a ton of enemies near you. Glitches - my aim down sights which I changed to melee stops working, squad disappears or blocks paths, ammo refills after reviving, wrong awards given for hidden objective and difficulty. Enemies take more damage halfway through game. Flyboys mission is a pain Damage Indicators aren't great. Only time I can tell I am getting hit is if all four arrows show up. If you get hit from in front the bottom arrow shows on screen which seems backwards. Squad commands are not needed to use at all.

One of the best WW2 shooters over there!
Along with Medal of Honor Allied Assault this is one of the best WW2-themed shooters of all the time. Hidden gem.
