Medal of Honor: Allied Assault War Chest

Medal Of Honor assault keeps crashng !! running on windows 11 superb game for its time i enjoyed it years ago.Wish it would work right though !! i dont "buy old games now because of all the issues".GOG should at least make sure games work right before putting them up for sale.

I tried to run the game on Windows 8 and it doesn't work, when I launch the game it just keeps saying "Medal of Honor has stopped working" and then asks me to end the program. I've tried running it in compatibility mode, tried running it in safe mode, and still can't get it to work. Please can this be fixed?

I like retro games, however.. world at war is the one to go for this one is superseded in everyway

I recently launched this game from my as old as the world CD. I've never been enthusiastic about MoH. I didn't like it at the first glance (it looked good, though), and after all these years I wanted to confirm that I was right. First off, it aged really, really bad. Controls are bad, movement is a chore, collisions are infuriating, level design is abysmal and the overall feel was just awful. It's not that its formula was bad. The first Call of Duty came out soon after and was better in an every aspect, making a pretty memorable game that can be played today (I actually played it this year). It's just that Medal of Honor was executed so poorly - the goal to make a cinematic experience with some scenes (Omaha) sacrificed everything else (well, except LAN parties). Too bad that was the turning point in the shooter genre that eventually gave us Medal of Honor Doorfighter and Call of Wallet. The only reason to say any positives about this game is nostalgia many people have towards it. Other than that, it's a really poor title.
