Oldie Goldie
I can say that this game has an great storyline, great gameplay, great scenarios aso. Dont be blind by graphic, today it really looks notning special, but for back days it was an really good graphic. Today kids doesnt know the roots of gaming and apreciate good games even if graphic isnt blowing. If u watched movie Saving Private Ryan u will se some scenes from that film like D-Day in Omaha and many more. If you like FPS shooters and WW2 scenes this is a must buy, you wont be sorry Altho i can say that i dont like when you shoot enemy. Its like he is an terminator, u have to shoot hom for a while, but all that goods cover this up so u wont see as a big problem

Cares that you do it, no choice how
Medal of Honor: Allied Assault including its expansions Spearhead and Breakthrough is a 'on rails' like shooter in which you fight as an allied soldier in World War 2 in Europe or North Africa. Usually, you are briefed at the start of a mission but the objectives often change because it goes awry. Some parts feature computer controlled soldiers or agents which shall support your mission, but they often fall soon in combat because they don't care enough about cover. You progress most of the times in streets/valleys/trenched which aren't very wide (often less than 10 meters). When the distance view adds new objects, you should scan for spawned enemies. Only sometimes they will spot and fire on you, else you have the opportunity to attack them from a distance. Often you have to shoot enemies operating an MG nest like this, and the crosshair remains fixed (breathing doesn't affect aiming). You usually have one per weapon class (pistol, rifle, submachine gun, assault rifle, grenades, heavy weapons like bazooka and shotgun). Sometimes you find a sniper rifle. In Allied Assault and Spearhead, you will find plenty ammunition during the game, in Spearhead you shouldn't miss cartridges because ammunition is much scarcer. Getting hit by enemy fire reduces your health by a fixed amount. The game is full of scripted events and enemies can spawn behind your back. The graphics are typical for the time of the development of MoH:AA. On Windows 8, selecting the highest available solution in the settings doesn't work, and For Spearhead and Breakthrough, you have to download an additional .dll file and put it into the installation folder to get them to run. If you move the mouse over the items in the start screen like for loading games, the overlayed image won't match the position perfectly, but that doesn't prevent playing and doesn't affect gameplay itself. Replay value is low because the game doesn't provide much freedom, you have do accomplish the goals like the last time.

Game is hard with a few redeeming parts
This game is brutally hard. Way too hard. Even in easy mode (and I’ve been playing FPS games for over 16 years and have beaten many games on the hardest difficulty), I died so much and slammed my table so much during Omaha Beach (one of the best levels), and all of the Breakthrough expansion, and I’m not even sure I can force myself to start the spearhead expansion. The major redeeming quality of this game is the still alive multiplayer. You’ll always be able to find a server with at least 5-6 living people, and also bots. It is extremely fun, and for that alone, it is definitely worth $2.49 on sale.
