I finished the game after 21 Years
I first played this game as a child and it definitely had a big impact on me. The omaha beach level is still iconic as ever, those weapon sounds and atmosphere of WWII is unmatched in modern games. There is so much and the sandbox is great. I don't think this game is great for modern PCs at all. However GOG made it playable and it still crashes on EA PLAY so I had to rebuy it here. Definitely recommend to anyone who never got to finish it as a kid like I didn't.

Brings back memories....
Used to love playing epic sniper battles on 'destroyed village', hiding in the church..:) Also has the funniest sounding MP taunts ever...

Do not play before? don't do it now
Poor AI from enemies and allies. The enemies just spawn and sometimes in front of you, there levels where sniper have perfect view of you, even to long distance and you will be killed before you can see anything (and nothing, protect you, nor shadows, no bush, nothing). Even if you are to a side of the enemy, the enemy can aim to you perfectly I can understand that can be a "prepare to die" edition, but didn't offer nothing interested to support the multiples death you will getting, even worse, after each level become more and more boring. Yep, is hard, very hard, but honestly, not fun, I was in the fifth mission and already lost all the interest to continue with the game.
