Master of Orion 3

The first two games were epic, and are still very much worth replaying, even years later. I bought MoO2 back when it came out, and still load it up on occasion. Worth every penny. This, on the other hand, is barely even a game. It mostly feels as though you're controlling a spreadsheet rather than a galactic empire. You don't really get anywhere near enough control over your empire - especially not the fun parts (combat, for example). You never really feel like you're accomplishing anything. Playing this feels more like work than anything else.

It's like they took everything that was good about the second game out and replaced it with a whole bunch of ridiculous ideas that went absolutely nowhere. I thought this site was called GOOD old games. This was never a good game. however its probably on here because of it being nostalgically horrendous.

I bought it, paid full price and never got to finish the game. That never happened to me before. It is nothing like it used to be. Buy 1 and 2, leave this one where it belongs...in the store.

The first 2 games are brilliant... this was an overly complex and unsatisfying waste of money.

Whats to say i spent 1h just reading the bloody manual, then poor me wasted the rest of the night playing the thing saying to myself it's going to get better... but it didn't and i spent like 29.99 CAD on it. all i'm saying is it's a waste of time and money
