It's ok at best
Original Mafia is still better in almost every way. I'm by no means nostalgic, since I've played both versions this year (2024). The remake is way easier, driving is not satisfying, Lucas Bertone missions are gone, gunshop is gone, story changed a lot, last monologue was changed too. At least we get to see way more of Sarah. Graphics are pretty and controls are ok for the most time, but that's it. If you like old games I still suggest you to get the original.

It's good to get back to a classic like this, but the game is just linear now, its very short and got some wild fps drops.
