It's a gem, high detailed open city of the early 1900's, good TPS, superb storyline. Played in Italian, even the sicilian accent is faithful

This game is a real gem - an immersive experience of the 1930s. The story and the voice acting are top notch. The feel and the atmosphere of the city of Lost Heaven is amazing. It's an old game, but the city feels alive and lived in - more so than in most newer games. The shooting can be a bit clunky at times, but it's still better than most similar games of the era. There's no licensed music in this version, but that's a minor detail and you can easily find some Django Reinhardt tunes elsewhere. Thank you for making this available, GOG

This is the best game in the Mafia series, specifically the story is by far the strongest. Driving cars feels much more real than the sequels. I recommend to get the original soundtrack back on track before starting your journey.

This game is old. It is very old. At times it is buggy, other times its clunky. The voice acting can sound a bit unnatural and the graphics are out-dated. It can be hard and confusing at times, but generally it is really good. You follow the story of Tommy who starts the life of a mobster by accident and rises to the top. You will witness different aspects of the mafia life – from smuggling alcohol to assassinating rivals and, sometimes, your close friends. The game really feels like a movie.

I remember playing this game more then 15 years ago. I was enchanted by the story, interesting characters, city exploration, style of that period and more. After coming back this year I must say - all imporant things have survived the test of time. I enjoyed every minute of it and highly recommend playing this timeless classic.
