Mad Max

Very good Mad Max game; great combat, fantastic setting, good customization for cars and upgrades... just a bit repetitive with their missions, sidequests and objectives but easily recommended

Enjoyed the hell out of this game. It has a few issues here and there (No way to change time of day, even when a couple of missions require night time) and the difficulty is a bit random (Generally low, with a few mad spikes) but overall its a good game, with a lot of little scavenging stuff or races to do if you want to spend more time in it. Driving is fun, voice acting is great, story is good, ground combat is fine.

I have spent hours in this game and I think it is well made. The combat controls are the same regardless fo whether you are on foot or in a vehicle.

If you're like me and enjoy the more ridiculous aspects of the Mad Max universe you'll enjoy this. It does a decent job of staying true to the series aesthetic without going too overboard. If you enjoy car combat Avalache did a great job with the mechanics and if you enjoy brawlers, well, good because this has plenty of it. The setting is gorgeous and eerie in all the right places. and it very much has that haunted feeling the films capture so well. The one thing keeping it from being perfect is your 'partner', Chumbucket. You will either love or hate him. Okay, there are two other things. Convoys don't respawn so make sure you know what attachment you want from them before you go after them, and offline scrap collection no longer works. If WB had made it so convoys respawn and NPC scrap collection worked differently it would be worth that fifth star.
