Lure of the Temptress (1992)

Good game, challenging puzzles, but this is the only reason the game takes a while to get through the first time. A bit short. Looking forward to Beneath A Steel Sky

Frustrating that some interactions couldn't perform unless the character was in a certain spot and you couldn't control where. It just wandered until you tried again and again. A couple times, a restore point was unusable because no actions could be taken on loading.

The visuals are very polished for its time, but other than that this game is quite boring. Almost every puzzle consists of "now that you've done something, go talk to every character to see if something new to do came up." It gets old pretty fast.

I couldn't get past the wandering of the locals and their yammering "Pardon, sir!" every 5 seconds. I didn't have the patience to wait for NPC's to finish running their mouths so I could say what I had to say. The opening dungeon scene was ok and kept me playing, but once I got to town, it was over for me. Free or not, this game is bad.
