Lords of Magic: Special Edition

After some many years I give the try to this adapted version, but I really enjoy more the "Heroes" saga to be honest. The gameplay it is not intuitive at all nad the adaptation had its flats too, so maybe is It would only be worth it if you have a lot of time and patience to play it

Use the custom to give yourself a single hero with an awesome artifact (plus one spell if a mage) and then farm the xp from the low level buildings solo - if a mage expend all mana killing some mooks and then click auto-combat. Once you have enough XP get the temple, then sit your hero in the barracks/guild/tower and hire troops at higher levels.

One of the GOG gems. While it takes a while to get accustomed to the game's style, its combat is never dull, its replay value never exhausted.

The time not pass over this game! A great strategy game for all who wants a challenging game. The difficult is balanced, difficult in some situations like the combats but for newbies exists the possibility to do it automatically. Absolutely different to all typical fantasy strategy games with the resources. A Must Have Game!
