These are black days for Urak. Evil envelops the land and the people cry out for a savior.
For a thousand years, peace reigned on the pastoral lands of Urak. Then forces of darkness, led by the evil sorcerer Balkoth, unleashed a nightmare of war and terrorism that destroyed the people and laid waste to the land. Now the cities are defenceless. The people are starving. The Great Temples of the land, once the centres of beauty and learning lie crumbling, overrun by worshippers of Balkoth. The people pray for a leader who can defeat Balkoth and end this nightmare. Are you that leader?

The game blows. I wouldn't recommend it however I played it a shit ton when I was a kid so it has nostalgic value for me. I'd recommend Age of Wonderers. It has the same style but a lot better, or Magic and Mayham.
This game is the entire reason I play games to this day, and has heavily influenced my desire for a fantasy setting in all games. Most modern RPGs copy this game.
I played this game when I was a child and I found it very intriguing. I remember when I was little the game was too difficult to me and I could not really play it for more than a few turns without dying. Well, now that I installed and tried it again I can say I still find it intriguing! I think it is a very good compliment to the atmosphere of the game. The whole atmosphere is very well constructed, consistent and is unique in some ways.
Overall the game is very enjoyable even to this day. It is really fun, but the only bad thing is that it gets boring quick after you begin to understand all the mechanics of the game and find the easiest ways to play every faction. This happens pretty quick, after a few hours in game. But it is still worth buying and playing. I mean, a couple dollars for ~10 hours of really good old fun and immersive gameplay - totally worth it. And I'm sure I'll play it again in the coming months since there are still fun things to try and again, the atmosphere is really good and immersive even after you get to know the game well.
I play this game when it come out but here i wish you can add higher Res or something that it look better on a big screen. And fix the stuttering on the two zoom out screens only the first normal one work. Still a good game but need a bit polish for visuals
