Return to a world of charming horror in Little Nightmares II, a suspense adventure game in which you play as Mono, a young boy trapped in a world that has been distorted by the humming transmission of a distant tower.
With Six, the girl in the yellow raincoat, as his guide, Mono sets out to discover the dark secrets of The Signal Tower. Their journey won't be easy; Mono and Six will face a host of new threats from the terrible residents of this world.
Will you dare to face this collection of new, little nightmares?
The game is cute and the puzzles are challenging enough for someone to figure out.
There are intense moments at times that can get the blood pumping.
Achievements are doable if you want to commit I think.
Story?
yes
There is one but you may want to pull up a youtube video to explain it in full.
Hope he sequal explains and/or concludes the story.
Nice graphics, nice music and mediocre gameplay in an OK puzzle game.
There are lots of chase sequences hindered by the 2.5D world, the first game is better in this regard. Also some bugs preventing progress. Sometimes I quit a puzzle after fiddling for half an hour, noticing the same action suddenly worked when restarting the game. Puzzles are interesting and unique, nothing to difficult.
Overall I enjoyed the game but was kinda relieved when it was over.
If you havent played Little Nightmares I, now is a good time to pick it up since it is on sale for 4€ at the moment and it is a good start into the Little Nightmares world. After playing Little Nightmares I you can even more appreciate the step up they did in Little Nightmares II.
To me it was even more creepy than the first one. I loved it. Bought it on launch, finished it today. It is short but a bit longer than the first 1. Art, gameplay and music are again done perfectly. Only complaint is the sometimes a bit clunky "combat system", and the precise flashlight usage (which is crucial in some parts of the game - no spoiler) is not that easy with mouse and keyboard.
But besides that it is amazing. If you enjoyed the first one, you will love the second one. It does everything at least as good as the first one, some things like the atmosphere is nailed down even better imo.
