Very immersive and creepy, but without cheap jumpscares. Plays great with a controller, probably a bit harder with mouse/keyboard. I don't know how many times I looked at a walkthrough, just to know how to proceed. VERY much trial and error and exact timings are needed, and I don't like such games but still felt this was entertaining cause the immersive setting and environments, and the short playtime (maybe 5-6 hours for me). Save system was the worst! It does automatic quicksaves pretty often, but many times I quit the game, just to realise that when booting it up again I hade to replay several minutes, several challenges, just cause the whole level was restarted. I never really grasped when those new levels appeared, so was a bit nervous everytime I started the game, just to see where I would have to start from...

i'm a fan of playdead's inside, so i picked up lm2 a few years back. i enjoyed that one, so i picked this one up on sale. it's not as scary as lm2, but the levels still stand well on their own! not hard to figure out the mechanics or each puzzle room, and i recommend playing in the dark.
