Nostalgic!
I still have my LBA2 CD, and I remember watching my big brother playing it on his old Computer mesmerized by the beautiful scenes... Now I'm here, 30 years later, playing this modernized version, still mesmerized by the scenery!

I want to like it
As fan of the classic games I can't really recommended this game at this stage, it feels very unpolished. The combat system is really lackluster (both the magic ball and melee fighting), the enemy AI is a potato and the friendly AI isn't much smarter. This, plus the amount of bugs I've encountered so far, should have made the game release as "early access". There's still hope for the saga, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't lose a bit of it.

Astounding remake
One of the best remakes I have ever seen. The new art style is amazing and very unique and fits very well with the type of game. Controls have been improved according to the current times. It captures the nostalgic feeling of the original very well. The only thing I have disliked is the story change. I don't understand why the had to add a new character (Luna, Twnisen's sister) who is kindnapped instead of Zoe, and now Zoe leaves early in the game for becoming one of the leaders of the rebellion, because, of course, Zoe is now a strong and independent woman (puajj I hate woke politics in games)

Little Big Adventure 1- Masterpiece
Better than the original, fleshes out the world and the characters beautiffuly while keeping the original charm intact, The visuals are beautiful, the music wonderful and the gameplay, while still anchored in more old-fashioned sensibilities, has been well modernised.

Decent remake, bad game
A decent remake of the beloved 30 year old game. I appreciated the improvements to movement, combat and the camera. But that's about all it achieves; in no way is this a 2024 game, even by indie standards. The AI is poor (just like the original), but the writing and voice acting are even worse. A host of minor snags, like how the boats travel only in straight lines, or how the Dino Fly does the 'land' animation before map transitions, illustrate how sloppily this game was developed. Only get this if you loved the original.
