Life is Strange: Complete Season

Life is Strange is offers quite the emotional ride for anybody who is ok with the game focusing on a story where you choose your own path instead of action-packed gameplay. It's much more like a walking sim and thats ok. Cons: the lip-sync doesn't actually sync at all ^^ Pros: great characters that allow you to become invested in them fantastic music emotional story difficult choices

Life is Strange is probably one of my favorite games ever made, and I'm certainly not the target audience. I've bought the game on multiple platforms, and have played through it completely at least twice. I had even talked some friends into purchasing it some years back, despite their criticism that they wouldn't enjoy it just based on its looks or style of play. Anyone in my life who I managed to get to pick this title up thanked me for recommending it to them, and then we sat and had a conversation about how wild of a ride the telling is. It's not so much the gameplay style of Life is Strange that makes it a masterpiece, but the story itself, the crazy twist and turns it can take and how your choices actually do effect a lot of different things to a great degree, including multiple endings. But I don't want to write too much on that, you won't find spoilers here. I've never really been a fan of point and click games, but I grew up on a handful of them, and the best were always the ones that drove you to play it for no reason then to find out what happens next. Life is Strange is just that, while it may start off rather slow and seem tedious it gradually picks up the pace. Some call this a walking simulator, I call it art. If you must think of it as an interactive movie of a sort, then by all means do so, after all the game isn't without its flaws but what game is truly perfect? It's a raw drama that should, by the end, leave your heart twisted in the decisions you will have to face. It's not particularly hard to play, and for some they may equate to boredom. If you enjoy reading books, watching great drama movies, point and click adventure games, and wish sometimes you could change a detail or save the life of a beloved character, I would encourage you try Life is Strange. 5/5 Broke my heart in a beautiful way.

The story and emotional connection is too good.

EVERY OTHER GAME VERSION 5 OF 5 STARS Like beardi described his/her Problem on the 9th June 2020 on this gog rating side i have the same Problem. Even when i try to start the game with all the tricks on the gog support side it won't start at all. Before i bought this game i had like beardi the steam Episode 1(Like a Demo)-Version. I INSTALLED EPISODE 1 AGAIN ON STEAM AND IT WORKS FINE! I hope GOG will bring up a PATCH/Fix because this is a great game. I played it on the xbox 360 back when Episodes came out one after another and I played until I finished each Episode in a short time because there is no way I could stop because it was so totaly awesome. I dont wan't my money back because i hope gog will fix this. And I support gog because i like what they're doing. Also I think 3.99$ is a good Price in Sale. But also i would take it back above 8.00$ because than it would to much for a game wich isnt even starting. So I hope they'll fix this PROBLEM!! Life is Strange is one of my all-time favorite games! I hate admitting this, but this was my third time buying the same game. LOL. I originally bought and played this game on Xbox back in May of 2020, and I loved it. I then bought it on Steam when it was on sale but didn’t know I could get it on GOG, and I love DRM-free games. I’ve had a great experience playing on all platforms, but especially on GOG. As you play, you will make your own choices which can have consequences in later episodes. This was interesting to me because your story outcome can be different from mine. The story teaches you the importance of friendship, and it does it beautifully with exploring Max and Chloe's close yet rocky friendship throughout the episodic adventure. It will at one point make you feel all the emotions as I did — happiness, anger, and sadness. The soundtrack is INCREDIBLE, by the way. One of the best things about this game! Weeks after completing the game, I still had it on repeat. I deeply regret waiting until 2020 to play this game. A good friend of mine recommended it to me and boy I'm glad he did. I had a great time playing it and I believe anyone who likes adventure games will have a great time as well.
