Way behind Caesar.

Title says it all. This game only has for itself its cute graphics and rarely encountered steam-punky history setting. Beyond this point, its like playing Caesar III without the legion/combat part. You can't chose the workers assignment priority, sooner or later, you'll end up missing one critical service, and you'll get an exodus on your hands. How can you harness the steam from geysers and not plan your workers priorities ? It's a weird world :) Last thing I want to talk about is the lack of keyboard shortcuts (!!), and the lack of the undo possibility we had in Caesar/Pharaoh/etc... We are 22 years after those games and it still isn't a given, wow !

Solarpunkish impressions-like citybuildr

Good stuff: * pleasant graphics * pleasant music * decent ui * building a city is comfy Bad stuff: * while most bugs have been resolved by the time of version 1.40, some still remain, for example the ui might bug out (buttons not working, some keys not working) and you'll need to restart the game to fix it * impressions-style city builders are somewhat repetitive and this one is no exception * lack of polish in places, for example sandbox maps don't have real names, just sandbox

I really wanted to love it...

I loved Pharaoh and also played it a lot. So I was very excited when I found Lethis. Positive: - Sure, some improvements (f.e. the worker homes must not be connected to the industry) - Pharaoh feeling - Lovely Drawings Negative: - No Ultra Wide Screen Support - No voice output for story or workers - No Option to Denie all Wares in a Warehouse - Zooming is too slow - Bugs (Game shutdown, False Mouse Position) - Long loading time at the start I tried to love it, but all negative points are too much for me. So I am looking forward to the Pharaoh Remake instead.

A lovely and simple city builder

I thought the game was great, I felt it was pretty polished didn't notice any bugs or issues. Reminded me the old city builders of the late 90s. It lacks a campaign with a little bit more bite to my taste and the game play itself is simple (Which could be enjoyable) but sometime you wish for more complexity. Regardless, I would recommend it, at least a few hours of pure nostalgic enjoyment are guaranteed.

Nice art, fail controls

A city builder using oblique projection, with no way to rotate the view so that you can see behind tall buildings? What kind of amateurs made this? Have they never played, I don't, know, any of the other city builders ever made?
