great game

Its a good game kind of linear tho , its fun even today prolly awesome back then , monks babes blood and beers its alot of reading but not as massive like a book if you gonna feel the story, seems kind of stable and you can see elena nude of you press a combo in the console, or can u?.

Very bad. The game intro is somewhat misleading TO ME, in MY OPINION. Because: - The first video is actually a renered movie clip, not anything of the game itself. - The second video's music is of much higher quality than the actual game music, which sounds like a nintendo score and is very repetitive, and not with any tension at all. - The third, which is the FIRST image that is shown, shows a nice 3D scenery with an open view. That suggests a gameplay of an open wide space. But this is absolutely not the case. This is only a combat background 'wallpaper' ! The actual game has a very narrow 3d top down view. This three points made my decision to buy it: I expected a nice real 3D game with beautiful graphics and amazing music, but it's not. I learned that this game introductions can be pretty misleading. From now, i never ever buy a game without watching a youtuve video of it's gameplay first. I had to give one star to be able to post my review, but i would give it zero stars if that was possible.

I tried this game on last week-end on a friends computer while house sitting. I played the 1st chapter and I have to say it was terrible. I did not feel like I was playing an RPG. You don't make a character you simple choose between melee, archer or spell caster. You can't tweak any of the characters stats. You can't choose your gender nor your appearance. You have ALMOST zero say in your progression. You have skills that you can pick but NOT at the start of character creation. This isn't an rpg. In factyou have only two imputes into the character creation process choosing your class and your name. In other words ZERO choice. The quests and story are so linear that I never feel I have any "choice" within the game. I felt no connection to the story because I never feel ownership of my character. The combat is terribly limited because it is all turn based with no movement or placement. Some people are going to enjoy the game for sure. But if you like strategy games I think you will find things very limited and boring and if you like RPGs you'll find the game too much like a strategy vs a "real" rpg. The mix doesn't work for me at all. Now to be clear I played the first chapter only but that was enough for me to say this is boring and my time would be better off spent else where and frankly I think the most unforgivable "sin" of any game is to be boring.

This game has a pretty interesting storyline, and the setting and graphics I thought were really well done. However, I have heard from more than one reviewer than this is akin to "King's Bounty." This is NOT the case -- King's Bounty gives you the ability to revolve around from overhead to view different sides of where your character is -- this has a very limited and fixed point of view. This makes it really difficult at times to find your objectives (must less accomplish them). I must admit I gave up on it after encountering one too many frustrations with the interface. Furthermore character development and achievements are nothing like King's Bounty, and the humor of that game is entirely absent here. For diehard fans of HOMM-like games, perhaps.
