The Legend of Kyrandia: Malcolm's Revenge (Book Three)

Very frustrating experience with highly illogical puzzles. You will need a walkthrough to complete this. Or at least I did. :) I never liked Kyrandia games much gameplay-wise but did enjoy the graphics of the first two, unfortunately the game looks much worse this time (because graphics are of pre-rendered 3D variety). You should definitely look elsewhere for your classic point-and-click fix. About rating criteria: ***** = absolute classic / unique experience **** = great / excellent *** = good game, recommended if you like the genre (so three stars is not a bad rating!) ** = average / mediocre * = waste of time Few things to note: -if I have given rating to a game it means I have completed single player story mode (or equivalent) -I am not interested in possible multiplayer so it has no impact on the rating (if exists)

A huge disappointment. The game has serious flaws, crazy amounts of dead-ends and frustrating wandering around and trying this and that and hoping for a right combination. The puzzles are not adventure game puzzles that you're used to in Sierra's or Lucasarts' games. I bought the entire Kyrandia pack, but only managed to play the second game, as it's the only one with good gameplay and a fun lead character. Nr. 1 & 3 are just lame and I didn't bother finishing them.

This game could have been good, but this is really awful. some puzzle are really stupid. the one with the bones and the duke, is horrible, no point in having to reload until you get the gems, that absurd. The tic tac toe game with the fish is stupid and just waste of time. Then all the comments after you click on a spot, is stupid. So this is the worst game in the serie, and I must say, that westwood is much better to make dungeoncrawlers, than making adventure game. Play some cool adventure game from all those good adventure game companies you can find here on gog, kyrandia is not worth the time
