such good memories playing this game as kid. the remastered versions are so great and to be able to swap back and forth to see the difference is so cool

The remastering on SR1 was so well done. Even tho I did play the community release of the HD shaders of the orignial PC port, this remaster is so much better. The audio tracks and voice acting are also really good. All togther a really good remaster.

Before the remaster, the PC port was the weakest port with no joystick support and was very prone to crashes. But now with the remaser avaliable this is the go-to version to get, with now added world map feature and compass, that was not in the original version and was very much needed. The voice acting, the worldbuilding, Story and graphical style are superbly done! It's a 3D platformer but leans towards puzzle solving rather than action, but there will still be a fair share of that, and the puzzles are just the right difficulty to solve. And you can switch between the old graphics and new by tapping on the right thumbstick. Soul Reaver is a must play, and i highly recommend it!

100% RECOMEND! The updated visuals are great. Back in the day I was playing spyro or mega race but catching up was made effortless thanks to this remaster. I hope they remaster Legacy of Kain: Defiance or another franchise like the first Deus Ex (which I've not played either) that's how good it is!
