Late Shift

Just finished the first play through. Actually bummed out cause I think I got a bad ending.... I was arrested haha. But now I want to play through again and see what the other choices give me. The story is a bit weak but not terrible. The acting is relativly good as well as the cinematography. The overall production value is not bad for a game like this. If you are into the idea of this game (being full movie where you decide the key choices) then it's worth a go if you ask me.

The lack of a chapter or scene select after completing at least one ending is very disappointing. The game is not entitled to waste hours of my time on re-watching cutscenes. I can't recommend this.

But it is not a game. It is like one of those interactive movies on Netfliix. And it's only an hour long. I get that they are counting on replay value, but I was really expecting more bang for my buck for the first run. Especially for the asking price.

First interactive movie/game I have played, and what a blast! Your decisions are really important, and at some points the game "branches" in very surprisong directions. I must say, after Late Shift I got hoocked up on games by this studio (Wales Interactive) and I can recommend them with a clear conscience. The game gives you lot of fun when playing alone but even more when playing with friends. It has enough replayability value to keep you interested for at least 3-4 playthroughs. Worth every penny as they say :)

Feeling based review: I appreciate that this kind of game is made and it can be that we see this kind of game more in the future to come... I really enjoyd the acting - being interested in voice acting and real actors in games !
