Until now (i still didnt played much time) it works fine on windows 10 . I had a problem of crashing that i was about to refund but tried a little deep in Google and found a fix. When start a new mission game crashed because of cutscenes. Just go to the folder where you installed the game and eliminate (or just move them to another new folder) all FMV files . Yes you wont be able to see the cutscenes but the gameplay , the soundtrack , the nostalgia is all there. Hope i dont find any other bug, until now all good =D

The lack of settings is a drawback. But, funny, fun, challenging but not too tough. Give it a go.

Ran slow until I fiddled with settings. It's basically a well made Command and Conquer Clone (Interface looks like it was done by the people who did the actual console ports) set on a post apocalyptic Earth with Humans who hid underground versus the Surface Mutants. I'm real glad they brought this fun series back. Game is actually hilarious which is not very common for this genre. It also has Some of the Eras best FMV scenes.

I am so greatfull of this gem right here.. hope that the 2nd game will allso run this nicely on my PC. Windows 11 PRO user and it runs great. I have finished first 7-8 missions for Survivors in one sitting in about 2 hours or so. Havent tried chaos mode or new missions or the other klan campaing.

I'm an avid RTS fan, so yes, I've played Starcraft and Total Annihilation and all those very popular titles. One of my favorites is still KKND, to this day, though. Here's why: - KKND doesn't take itself too seriously. Where other RTS story telling can be incredibly trite, KKND embraces it and turns the triteness into a strength. - For the day, the graphics are quite good. But the artwork is great. You can tell they actually spent a lot of time detailing the artwork, and that they had fun fleshing out the post-apocalyptic atmosphere. - KKND introduced the concept of veterancy for units and production queues to the RTS genre. So it had some innovation. The research system and the interface are also unique, and something I have never seen since. - The game is about having fun. Just buy it and play it. I guarantee you it is easier to pick up and play than any other RTS I can think of, and the hardest to put down. It's as addictive and action-packed as Doom (to me) but in RTS form. Have you ever bought a game off of GOG only to find it mediocre--or worse, just as bad as they say? Well this is the biggest gem you could find on this site. You will not be disappointed.
