I have play this game on PS3 when it was release, back in the year 2012, I was very happy when I found out a remaster and re-release was coming to PC, but I just try to purchase the game and found out that Kingdom of Amalur Re-Reconing is extremely expensive here on GOG (at least in my country), I checked on Steam and the price was almost 5 times less!!! I could literaly purchase the game 5 times on Steam for the same price of one copy here on GOG. Never found a game with so much difference of prices, but other games form THQ suffer from this problem, like ELEX (that cost 8 times more), the recently releases like Desperado III (that cost 5 times more) and Destroy All Humans (that cost 6 times more), I hope something could be make, I alway buy games on GOG, all weeks, and I found this really wierd, never happen to me and result extremely unfair. Hope that GOG or THQ Nordic could do something!!!

we have seen the exact same thing before so many times, haven't we? what is the excuse for letting people pay full price for updated game versions? maybe in 2 years we face a full price re-re-release? go on! btw, i happen to own this game on steam and i'm on the brink of having it removed permanently from my account.

I'm not going to get in to the merits of the re-master here, this is just a warning for those that may be looking into it for the first time. Do not mistake this for a Witcher/Gothic/Elder Scrolls, etc. style story driven 3rd person action rgp. It was supposed to be an MMO, they ran out of money along the way, and quickly re-coded a few bits to dump it to market as a single player game. I cannot understand the love this game got from anybody in the first place. It's blatantly obvious from the moment you drop in to the starter area that this was designed as an MMO. Everything about the areas, quest hubs, quest design, dialog, etc. is like an original WoW v1.0 clone, only there are no other players. I dumped about 40 hours into the original hoping to find something more eventually, but there's nothing here. It's MMO mob grinding without the chat window. Looks decent and the action plays out OK, but there's simply no game here. Empty, static world holding mindless path looping mobs with aggro circles that you grind for "boar tusk/wolf hide/bandit amulet" drops to complete quest hub missions. That's it...many hours of that.
