I feel like this is somewhere between 2 and 3.5 stars. If you like doing the same thing over and over and over again, having to achieve split second accuracy on slightly average controls, then this is your game. Times ive missed slices because the enemy can hit diagonal and i can't or my sword wouldn't hit an enemy sideways has caused more frustration than enjoyment. that being said it has some charm, and so far the story told in 8bit flash backs and flash forwards is interesting, but i feel not enough to get over some of the gameplay frustrations. You may enjoy it on a sale if you like that type of gameplay, but im somewhere in the middle

One of the most enjoyable, simple game you can play. It's quite short but gave me a lot of fun. Could be a little bit longer but for that gameplay it's worth it.

If you played Hotline Miami, and you liked it, you'll like this game. The colors, music, retro style and gameplay are very similar although this is a side-scroll. Similar to HLM, you have instructions for every mission. Very enjoyable, better if it's in offer.

This game is great... No, that won't work. If you like pixel art and cyberpunk dystopias... No, that won't work. Fast paced sword play that bends time and reality... No, that won't work. Buy the game. Yeah, that should work.
