Are you alone?
Bonus mysteries! Complete your survey of the planet to find out. You’ll know you’re on the road to completion when you’ve heard the words ‘cucumber sh*twater’ and found the ‘festering butthole’.
Humor is pretty funny with parodies of the future. The voiceovers are nice. Enjoying exploring and going through it. Isn't too tough and not too long. Perfect for my kind of play through. I would highly recommend it. Beautiful game.
Didn't think I would be enjoying this as much as I am right now. Metroid Prime is a strong influence in this game, with a good dose of humour (acquired taste if you didn't grow up in the 80s/90s).
It's a chill, vibrant, and funny Metroid Prime that doesn't stress me out after a long day. I do wish there was a save anywhere mechanic, but getting back to a portal isn't that difficult.
Buy it, worth the money, sale or not if this is your kind of jam.
This is turning into my GOTY for 2022
Metro-wha-hee-haa? Why is every body giving these titles catagories using game names. Like it describes the game well even if you never played those games before. I have. None the less how about Action, adventure, fps. I've played Metroid and castlevania. Metroid maybe, castlevania? Not so much. No vampires, wips, flying crosses, ah you get the picture. This game is worth the price of admission. If there were a game best to describe it, it would be Ratchet and Clank the way if feels. Without the companion. DRM. None what soever. Short? Well, taking my time I've been playing well over 10 hours. I believe in enjoying my games, not seeing how quicky I can beat them. Sometimes you can get bored playing the same game over a long period of time. It length fits perfectly with this type of game.
We're a few hours into exploring the world of this game and it has already captivated our attention, fascination, whimsy and intrigue. The humour is spot on and the FMV videos are endearing and well filmed. Beyond all this, despite the comedic whimsy of the game, the environment feels like a believable ecosystem in that all the fauna and flora have an evolutionary mesh to them - this game deserves to have a higher player review score and I think is most worthy of your time, energy and essence... it'll reward you with untold, unlimited Grob! ;D
Playing this reminds me largely of Supraland. Not only are both games colorful, cartoonish metroidvania-style titles, but the pace of progression is similar (for me; your experience may vary). The writing is downright comedic here, more madcap than the humor in Supraland. It's not for everyone, but if you enjoy Monty Python, Vonnegut, and Weird Al, you'll probably like this.
