Journey to the Savage Planet

YOU CAN'T PAUSE THE GAME!?! need to let the dog out? go screw yourself! need to run to the bathroom? go screw yourself! not an obsessive personality who can't spend a solid hour between save points with no option to save or pause? Then screw you! You shouldn't play this game. This was the biggest purchase regret I've ever made. What should have been a fun, exploratory game quickly turned out to be an intentional effort by the developers to make you as angry as you can be. Just don't go here... It had a lot of potential- but no pause and no discretionary save option makes this game unplayable. There is no reason for these unexpected constraints, and had I known they existed, I would never have purchased the software.

Not beeing able to pause the game and actually having to return to the habitat before exiting the game, or else you die ... how can that not be in the game!? WTF

I bought this on the Epic Store when it came out in 2020 as I saw positive reviews online. This turned out to be my personal GOTY for 2020 and I wanted my own DRM free copy and to play again. The exploration of the world, upgrading gear and coming back to previous places, scanning of items and enemies will remind you of Metroid Prime. I liked the humor of the game but that will depend on your personal tastes. Never played co-op and here it's been a major issue for Epic players. So hopefully it'll work on GOG. Took me roughly 15-20 hours to beat.

I loved Subnautica and Breathedge and was hoping to have found another little gem, but this game is not that deep. There is no creativity involved and it is exactly what it's written on this page: action and exploration. It's pretty fun at the start but it gets old quickly, almost everything you unlock, you're gonna unlock it for "achievement sake". Upgrades will make your life easier but beside the first ones you don't really need to push it to the max. The shoothing part is also not so good, again as it says: action and exploration. Maybe my issue with this game is that I don't like platforms too much? I liked the graphic (colorful) and the humor
