Play with a friend
Play solo or online with a friend. If you have one.
Explore and catalog the flora and fauna.
From strange spherical birds to hallucinogenic plants to ‘festering alien orifices.’ Try not to die.
No Expense Spared*
You get some cool tools for free, like a laser pistol, rocket booster pack, and ‘probe’, but if you need something you have a slick 3D printer can turn space trash into sweet items.
Are you alone?
Bonus mysteries! Complete your survey of the planet to find out. You’ll know you’re on the road to completion when you’ve heard the words ‘cucumber sh*twater’ and found the ‘festering butthole’.
I played it all in single-player and was awesome.
Great adventure game without deep mechanics or overwhelming choices. Excellent for a day you feel tired.
The story isn't something memorable you'll tell to your children, but I think the exploration and the art compensate for that.
Game starts fun, mouse controlls feel bad (horizontal and vertical acceleration are diffrent somehow), world is fun to explore.
Enemys are tedious it is so hard to kill them if you don't have perfect aim. Also Gun reload takes 4x the time it takes to empyt the gun, every shot that misses feels very bad.
But exploring the world felt great :)
Final boss was also very annoying (not the fight but the journey)
Performance was also very bad at some places (like the javelin) (I am running a 6950)
For a good discount it is a great game
Got game with DLC for free.
Funny, good art style, lovely puffbirds, interesting level design (metroid-style), story, easy to play.
A bit short, full walkthrough with DLC taked about 20 hours.
I played this while it was available for free on Xbox Gamepass. It had me hooked from the get go. It's tongue in cheek humour, the colour pallette, the game not taking itself too seriously. Definitely worth giving it a go.
