Journey of a Roach

cute graphics , and little bit smart and need to look around all the time just relax and enjoy it

Short but exciting adventure of mutant cockroach buddies in a post apocaliptic but lively world. Simple but good controls, wonderful graphics, nice story. A good little fun.

This is an original and fun title that had lots of potential. The humour was great, the various characters were cute and some of the puzzles were quite clever. Unfortunately, these aren't enough, since: -Some of the puzzles are a bit of the moon logic kind. Also, a few of the puzzles are timed, which is something I dislike. -the controls are awful and the camera made me physically sick, although I never had such problems while gaming. Navigating some parts is unnecessarily complicated. -This problem is made even worse by the diabolical audio (both music and squeaky sfx) which makes the experience feel like a bad fever dream. -The various "arcade" sections really put me off. I thought adventure games had graduated from such things. This is also a short game, but due to feeling sick because of the camera/sound, I count the game's brevity as a positive thing.
