Meh
This was kinda fun at first, but as the levels got more complicated, it just became tedious.

One of my favourite games of all time
Yes, this game has it's problems. The very high character move speed makes you take damage if you aren't careful. Yet, the game is most fun when speeding. I'd recommend playing one episode a few times. When you know what you are up against it gets instantly more fun. To bad Epic isn't making good games like Jazz Jackrabbit anymore... I'd buy another sequel. OMG I almost forgot to mention it: THE SOUNDTRACK IS AWESOME!!!

Sonic? Who needs him!
Because the PC was it's own thing in the sphere of 1990s gaming, you seldom saw ports of popular console franchises. Instead you'd get someone's attempt at making their own version of a coveted game. Jazz Jackrabbit was Epic Megagames' attempt at Sonic the Hedgehog for the PC, but with some new elements like gunplay through into the mix. The end result is spectacular.

Great game but I have just two problems.
The game is fucking great and definitely one of the best 2D platformers out there, but there two problems that I personally have the GOG release of this and those the price being way too much for me, and the fact that the GOG release of this release is both incompatible with Windows XP and that it demands the use of a DirectX compatible 3D video card which is just completely stupid to because not only do all CD and floppy disk versions of the Jazz Jackrabbit games run perfectly fine under Windows XP, but also none of the Jazz Jackrabbit games for PC, at least to my current knowledge anyway, demand the use of a DirectX compatible 3D video card.
