one of the best 90s platforms on pc
a classic gem about sonic with megaman but its actually really good and one of the best games soundtracks of all time imo, its unfortunate that this series died so quickly.

specs are not really matching the game..
it says Windows (7, 8, 10, 11) only. but i know it ran already on a pentium-ii 333mhz with only 64mb ram (system memory) in the 90s even with a 4mb video ram video card. (and back then, it ran on windows 98 flawlessly in 800x600) (as i assume it is the same-untouched- version of this game since the 90s) i just installed it on a windows xp pc with the gog offline installer and it runs just fine. no probs. windows xp, so not even windows vista. i have seen these specs often not really matching the results/physical situation.. you (gog) often write there are higher specs neccessary for a game than what is the case. nevertheless, it is a great game

Excellent action platformer!
I grew up on the original Jazz Jackrabbit; it was a big part of my life back in the late 90's. When this game (Jazz Jackrabbit 2) came out, it lacked the FEEL of JJ1's levels and music. As I got older, JJ2 got tossed into the "maybe one day" bin, and stayed there for over a decade. Then, in the mid 2000's, I gave it a genuine playthrough and discovered it was a really decent game! It can't ever compete with the memories of JJ1 I have, but JJ2 is technically BETTER in every way, even if the levels tend to feel a bit sprawling and empty at times. Overall, if you want to play a fast-paced action platformer, you'd be hard-pressed to find anything native to the PC that compares to JJ2.
