Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love

It's just in. Deponia is no longer spiritual successor of Lucasarts adventure puzzle games. Irony Curtain came and took that title at ease during first chapter. This game is simply great. Fantastic setting, great jokes, many cultural references, perfectly balanced riddles and cherry on top so far (chapter 3) pretty amusing mini-games. I expected something nice, but not another monkey island, just in communism parody setting. Being honest, I actually expect meeting character named Guybrush at some point in the game. Go for it comrade !!! We need you to fend off capitalist spies off review page on GOG.

It's very irony: parody game about USSR has no russian language. As I know, russian translation is made by ZoG, and it just must have been added to the game. It lasts at least a halfyear, so please do it. Many of us bought this game in hope there will be our native language.

As I tend to like games with a good story and touch of humor, this was an ok game. Some of the controls take a little getting used to. Most of the puzzles are relatively easy, but there were a few that made no sense. As always, it never stops being fun making jokes at the expense of communists/socialists. This is also a pretty short game. Also, the story is not overtly preachy about politics one way or another. So if you go into this game without expecting to much, you should be able to come away mildly entertained.

Nice game. Dialogues are funny, reminds me old adventure games. I played couple of hours and game meet expectations.

I've found this game a very entertaining: good (not too difficult/not too easy) puzzles, nice hint system, great graphics, and a funny plot. It was also long enough to keep me up for a few evenings. It's a shame that this game gets so many low ratings just because of its anti-communist character, which is rather a plus if anything at all. I highly recommend this title :)
