Ion Fury

If you want to play a game that feels really dated, then this is the game for you. Especially if you are a fan of juvenile jokes. This game often feels written by teenagers or people stuck in the past, since it's rather old offensive humor. It kinda feels like its made by middle aged men who still thinks it's the 1990's and that they are young and cool. If you want the jank of the 1990's FPS without any improvements and enjoy bad dated, sometimes offensive, humor, then this is for you. And if you support how they bow down to the loud few anti-LGBTQA+ fans, then that is a plus. Bold statment of how they "listen to the community" (read "listen to review bombings from bigots, some not even fans since the review that started the whole thing hadn't even played the game) will not be censored and will never remove any jokes no matter how offensive. A Dev even stated "F**k politics!" and that they will be as offensive as they like, telling people to pirate the game if it ever gets censored (funny how it's only politics when it's against being offensive but never when its for). Giving apologies and donation to charity without actually doing any change is hallow. It becomes an easy way to just get away with things. A "sorry, not sorry". For the rest, just avoid this!

That looks like a duke nukem 3d. Same engine I would guess. But then again, if it worked for blood, right? Ah - and the last thing - it's totally 2018 - just a reminder.

Hello! Ion Fury has nothing to do with the "old school gaming" but just a certain feeling and that\s it. PC players aren't needing of AUTO-AIMING, and there even the nades have it. It's a first Sin game 85% ripp-off first designed for the handheld gaming device Nintendo Switch. But what it's dragging even more down this game is the ULTRA-EXCESSIVE AMOUNT OF SECRETS that not only are very hard to found due to the muddy pixelated-voxelated graphics but also are requiring being "born with a controller" due to certain jumps. Almost all of the goodies are in it, so if you can do them by keyboard and mouse, the developers realising that have released an entire series of cheats, just like those for the Blood-Rayne games, who by the way, were way more fun to play than Ion Fury. And even on sale, at half its original demanding price of 12.59 euros I'm feeling robbed out. Even 5 euros would be too much to ask for it. I purchassed it cos of the excessive hype made by those who haven't played the real "old school games", haven't played Quake 2, the first two Serious Sam games, the first three Thief, the first two Max Payne, the Half Life and Sin games. Those were part of the "old school gaming" and not this abomination. Have a good day all of you.

I'd rather throw up thumbtacks than pay money for this transphobic wreck of a game. An "homage" to an older game just means they were too lazy to do any real work on an original idea. They have no artistic integrity and they have no moral integrity.

Good game if you want to experience the old days of Duke Nukem as a female and you don't mind that every opponent looks and sounds exactly the same. This was obviously built on the same engine that run the original Duke and Doom games...looks like crap, but fun for the nostalgia club I guess? Bold of them to offer a demo but I'm glad that they did as now I don't have to waste GOG's time asking for a refund...time to uninstall the demo and forget about it:)
