Description
Klei Entertainment, the independent studio behind the hit games Mark of the Ninja and , Don't Starve, presents: Invisible, Inc.

Take control of Invisible's agents in the field and infiltrate the world's most dangerous corporations. Stealth, precision, and teamwork are essential in high-stakes, high-profit missions, where every move may cost an agent their life.
  • Character selection: Start with any of the 10 unlockable agents in the game, plus 6 agent variants, and 6 starting programs to crack corporate security.
  • Deep customization of builds: each play through is different as you create your own strategy using agents, items, augments and programs, and adapt to your surroundings.
  • Randomly generated world: locations, threats, and loot are randomly generated so each playthrough is vastly different and you’ll never get complacent.
  • Choose your own game mode: with 5 different game modes and extensive custom generation options, each player can play the way they prefer.
  • Fully animated cutscenes and voice over: with hundreds of lines of voice over, great animation, and fully animated cutscenes, we didn’t spare any expense to make an immersive experience.

Android: Netrunner + XCOM

This title offers no breakthrough ideas, but deep and diverse gameplay with truly minimalistic interface. That's hard to do, as a developer I can only applaud. Similar to the products of Subset Games in the way of how you can get so much from so little. Please do not be scared away by the seemingly primitive visuals. Turn-based, great balance, tactical, high replayability.

Good game, short?, bad ending

It's good but get it on sale. The gameplay is a blast for a few hours, and there are many modes and difficulty options you can play around with. I beat the game on beginner pretty quickly and towards the end got a little bored. I think if you have played a lot of these types of games, maybe try Normal. Despite the numerous options, the game quickly turned into doing the same things over and over. The items I received got pretty boring towards the end. The ending isn't great. It doesn't feel fulfilling or anything. The story itself is generic (same AI story you've heard before) so I guess you can overlook the ending pretty easily though.

only minor things missing

This game is very good and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes turn-based thinking games like chess, UFO, Jagged Alliance and such. The setting is quite unique and fits well with the in-game options and approaches. One little annoyance is that the game won't register my 4th and 5th mouse button when customizing controls. I could really use that for some of the commands so that I didn't need to touch the keyboard at all and be fully immersed into the lovely hi-tech atmosphere trying to outsmart all the obstacles the AI throws at me. Well designed (as is a standard with Klei games)!

Very good stealth game

Very good game, looks really good, the gameplay is truly absorbing and it's quite addictive. It can get difficult enough for experienced gamers although I agree with some opinions here about the fact that it's short and it's quite expensive for the kind of game it is. They have nice ideas at Klei, but Don't starve was cheaper and longer.

Good, yet a bit disappointing

Invisible Inc. is the kind of game that looks fantastic for the first two hours of play, and become more and more unsatisfying as you go through because the flaws become apparent. The foundations are solid though: it's a well-made tactical turn-based game, there is not much to complain about the mechanics or the AI. It has stylish graphics and animation who remind me of some 90s/early 2000s animated series, a cool cyberpunk setting, and an overall good story. First thing that bugged me, as many people pointed out: it's repetitive. Go from A to B, do action C, and evacuate. I'd say it is mainly due to the fact the layout of each level is procedurally generated. That feature, meant to make each playthrough unique, ends up with the opposite effect: everything looks the same, because there is only one set of corporate office/lab elements of environment. Worse, the architecture sometime makes no sense: with the super server room generated next to the janitor's cabinet. I would have definitely preferred a fixed level layout, but with more elaborate objectives and many ways to complete them. The agents lack personality: the game developers boast on the voice acting, but couldn't spare some to write banters between agents and makes them feel like real characters. I desperately scrounge for money, but my black market contact only offer me stuff I can't afford. My team is inserted via teleporter (!) yet need to reach an elevator (?) to escape. It a sum of little things that makes me not really want to start another game after I reached the end. Too bad because again, it has really good core mechanics. I'll definitely look out for a sequel that may improve on this base.
