Kind of a chess puzzle solving game. Make the moves, consider the consequences. Good dificcult, challenging. A must play if you like thinking intensive games.

I bought this after absolutely loving FTL. It is a good game. You'll probably love it if you disliked the random chance in FTL. Your attacks will always do what you expect. You won't like this if you enjoyed playing FTL without pausing. This is a slower-paced think-then-act type of game.

If you enjoy games that test your brain without overwhelming you with mechanics, Into the Breach is an absolute must-play. It’s fun, challenging, and aesthetically spot-on.

Never boring, constantly replayable. Is that not the hallmark of a classic? I think so. I've been playing Into the Breach for years and I still find myself surprised by the depth packed into its tiny maps. Every decision matters, every move feels like a puzzle, and yet it never becomes predictable. It’s elegant, ruthless, and endlessly rewarding. For me, it’s one of the rare games that will stay installed forever.
