A delightful game. A very touching, tragic story, an original language of narration.

Good story, overall just okay
The game is a plataformer with mostly 3 main characters (But don't have the same type of weight in the story). There are 2 type of collectables (notes and pain) and "gamer" archivements. The last one baffles me as i found it dissonant with the narrative of the story it does try to give it replayability, but once you know the story i really don't find motivation to complete it as a gamer less if it is a dramatic one. Not that this is the first narrative story based game that does that. Other problem is that some animations particulary "the guardian" one, giltched more than once and all in action scenes, i thought it was normal until the knight started giltching as well, it would be good if devs fix that. In the end, it is an interesting story with several plot twists but if you hate meaphors for real life like stories, you will definitely hate this one. It is heartbreaking and uncomfortable, but i enjoyed it, not for all people though.

Dark narrative platformer
Inmost is a dark narrative platformer with gorgeous pixel art. It tells three interwoven stories and is quite mysterious during its first two acts, making you figure out what's really happening. But it all comes together beautiful in a finale that made me bawl my eyes out. The gameplay is quite simple, and there are a couple of visual glitches here and there, bringing the experience down slightly. But the story is a real gut punch and will linger with you for quite some time. Inmost can be completed in about 4 hours, which is great for a lazy afternoon, but you can add an hour or two more if you're going for 100%.

Worth your time.
This is a beautiful game with... quite the compelling story I might add. The three characters you control successively have each their own playstyle in a unique setting. It is not very long, but just enough to get its point across, without overstaying its welcome. Some minor technical issues, e,g, some enemy placement can be unnecessarily frustrating. Also, I think it could retain its mystery with a bit less obscurity. Obscurity is absolutely fine, of course, however I don't believe that, in this game's case, it has enough time to satisfyingly unravel, so as a result I feel that the final closure can be a bit lacking. These are minor gripes however, which overall do not prevent this game from being a wonderful and moving experience. Easily recommended.
