Incoming + Incoming Forces

(this review is only for the first incoming) If you're a fan of fast-paced military vehicle shooters then i would definitely recommend this game as its a prime example of the genre, just beware of two things though. 1: The game doesn't play nicely with modern video cards. You're pretty much guaranteed to need a API wrapper like dgVoodoo for it to work properly. 2: The game is well known for for being a pack in for several video cards back in the day, what people tend to forget though is that the version received this way was actually based on an unfinished build that lacks features and has a few notable artistic differences compared to the retail/this version. If that was the version you grew up with you might be a bit disappointed.

I recommend this games to any fans of arcade shooters/simulators; you will like thoose games as well. Classic human/alien conflict and you'll have chance to expore it from both sides. Defend your home as human in Incoming, defend your alien world against humans in Incoming Forces. Many different types of missions, tons of hardware to use, good graphic, good soundtrack. It's all every good shooter need. It's now time to defend your home land(s)! To battlestations!

This game came with my video card a couple years back. I lost the CD since so I bought this here. But it didn't work on Windows 10. It crashed with an "Incoming error report" window. Setting compatibility mode did not work either. Stay clear if you have a recent Windows version.

FYI, my favorite game from the old days works perfect on Windows 7 64 bit. Gosh did I miss this game !! Great job on this one GOG !

Upon running the game I was greeted with the following error message: Please report exception code(c0000005) ADDRESS: (77aaf82b) The game had crashed on startup. Great... There are no solutions to this problem online, and I went through as many as I could find. I even tried dgvoodooo, an applied AMD driver fix (despite using an NVIDIA card), and attempting to manually set the resolution before startup . But, to no avail, I was greeted with the same instability as before. I remember this game from my childhood, and I was so excited to be able to play it again. But...it seems I ahve darker days ahead. And as the original disc for this game rots on my game shelf, I will remember the fond days I had with it. Waiting for the day I can play it again.
