Overall very good, a few pitfalls
Pros: Great economics system, balanced play, lots of ways to win, large technology tree, great battle system, random maps. Cons: Capital is captured and you lose, game focuses on a lot of content so none of it is very "deep"", Natives are pushovers, you can only play Old World nations, no "cultural" side to the game.

Doesn't work on Win10
Can't geht the game to start on Win10.. There are zero solutions on the internet. I liked the first game a lot and wanted to try this out, but well.. Gonna get it refunded.

Tough but good
This game is a tough one to beat. There are plenty of stuff to think about, but fortunately, you can ask the computer to take over part or most of the functions of your country. It's a good game design well produced even though I prefer other civilization games than this one.
