"A different way to enjoy D&D"
Here's my memories with this game: 1. I made 4 attempts at this game before I managed to finish it. And with a solo character at that, somehow. 2. A friend asked me how D&D could be enjoyable with more fights than role-play. I directed him to this game. 3. The ghost of an elven girl laughed when I told her she was dead. The dragon fights are much more manageable than those in Baldur's Gate, I think. I don't understand how this game got better ratings than Baldur's Gate, though. Maybe it's because the fights are more fun? Maybe it's because the location is less cliché? Maybe it's because the bosses are so amazing? (Like really, I love every big encounter of this game) The only real negative I can think of is that it's a bit too linear for me. At least I can't miss timed quests I didn't know of.

Marvellous Game
Storyline is more predestined, focus is more on battle strategy and defeating lots of enemies, in contrast to baldurs gate series. Create your own group of four people.

Classic in an advanced graphics
I really love games like Baldur's Gate saga, Planescape or Icewind Dale "saga". I wanted to play it on Mac and it was not possible with the original version (at least from what I tried). So I bought the enhanced edition and it was worht. Several bugs have been fixed but the game is still the same - still the same RPG I've always enjoyed to play (more action than in BG).

Successfull Enhancement
Icewind Dale is good team-based RPG with huge focus on combat. The plot was very simple and straightforward but still engaging, combat - interesting and tactical enough on Hard difficulty, only the final fight was very dissapointing. Beamdog has done really good job 'enhancing' this one: the game looks decent and feels comfortable to play. Except for pathfinding, it's still terrible)
