Icewind Dale 2 Complete

As player of this game on every platform, I can say after so many years (21 can't believe...) this is one of best CRPG game ever! For every lover of Dungeons and Dragons serial, this is "must to play" game! AI could be better to be honest, there was major problems with items and other bugs which was unbearabble, but to put aside that part cause almost all of bugs are fixed, everything else is in ur hands in cold winter of Aurils will!

I waited for this game for long, now I can finally play the complete edition.

There are still some legacy bugs in the game. I played until the ice temple. There was an area with ice trolls. I killed all the trolls but now my dwarf is stuck in the area with the door and he can't cross the doorway again. I guess one work around is that you shouldn't try to use the doorway as a choke point. Maybe some of the ice troll bodies create a wall. Everyone else can walk through it but not my dwarf fighter with dash. Also for a heads up the game is difficult. I died so many times getting to the ice temple. Mainly the beginning is crazy difficult. Watch out for hold person. Such a simple spell but that spell right there makes the game hard.

Along with Baldur's Gate (BG) I, II, and Icewind Dale (IWD), Icewind Dale 2 (IWD2) is a D&D-inspired CRPG built with the Infinity Engine. IWD does not have the depth of characters and quests that BG does, as the focus is on combat and the tactics that you need to defeat your enemies. However, there is still an enjoyable story, and the world building is excellent. The music by Inon Zur is very beautiful and atmospheric. Definitely recommended!

Still enyoyable. The storytelling may not be on the level of bg series, but it´s still very good.
