FINALLY someone decided to make a game that uses the Blackthorne cover system - and even expands on it! And instead of a slow cinematic platformer, the game uses it to the maximum by being a fast-paced Run'n'Gun! Hell yes! That alone is enough to make me love the game. What a great tribute to 16 bit era.

Huntdown has great pixel art and very fitting soundtrack and good sound and voices. Controls are tight which are requirement for this kind of game. Boss fights are fun and not too difficult on normal difficulty. Biggest negative is the relative small amount of levels and level variation. Just going through story should take you about 4-6 hours. Of course there is more for those who want to conquer the game with no deaths and on harder difficulties, but for regular gamers this is someting to consider. If you are a fan of run and gun games, then give this one a go especially when it's on sale.

I was skeptical that this game could live up to its trailer video. It lives up to it!!!!!!!!!!! What a rad game.

I wish there was part two. The best game I've played in years. Tight controls, interesting bosses, very very fun game. A bit hard, but in a good way.

I cant say even 1 negative thing about this game. Absolutely perfect! I hope They making more amazing game like this soon!!!
