Kind of a bad port
I can't even mantain 30 FPS on meduim/low settings. I really want to like it but I spend more time in the graphics settings.

Masterpiece story but glitches
Friends kept telling me "buy this game, it is great!" And then I saw the reviews for the PC release and though I'd better to wait fixes and optimisation. This finally came and yeah, the story is very nice, I liked Aloy and her adventures, some npcs are nicely done too, visually stunningly beautiful... but something hindered my playthrough, a sound bug. It looked like the spacialisation was totally out of the table, I could suddenly ear a robot walking like it was next to me while it was 200m on the right/left/behind/front and the worse, the cinematics. I had to activate subtitles to be able to understand what they were talking. The voice level was close to sero like if they were far from the recording point. Few times the voice went a bit audible and disapeared the next second. That's when it is missing you find out that the sound is VERY important. I tried everything I could, I even reinstalled three times sounds drivers, tweaked everything I could tweak, tried several headphones and speakers, reinstalled the game several times, etc. Nothing fixed the issue, I just can't have voices and have to deal with some janky movements noises. Few other technical glitches but nothing really problematic. What bothered me more was the way it kicked in my GPU and CPU, holy cows! And the shaders loading when launching the game... It takes AGES. Ok this will keep loading while playing if you dont wait but visually you'll see a difference. I hope we will be able to enjoy the next Horizon on PC sooner than this opus.

The best 3rd person action game ever!
If you are a fan of 3rd person action/adventure games like me, then this is the title for you. A huge open world, engaging storyline, beautiful landscapes and action packed fun really gets you gaming for HOURS! I literally have owned this one title so many times, and I am about to own it again. I've been gaming for a long time, decades, and this game will be forever a classic to me. Like I said, if you are like me, enjoy strong heroine, kicking extreme butt and just exploring (any old Tomb Raider or Resident Evil fans out there?) then this is the one for you!

Great fun when it doesn't crash
Only played for about 5 hours so far, but already really engaged by the story and enjoying the combat mechanics. I think this is a game that I will enjoy immensely... when it isn't crashing. Right now I can play for about 15-20 minutes before the game crashes. Tried many things, lowering graphics complexity, ensuring shaders finished optimizing, installing latest graphics drivers, halting all background programs, even followed some advice to hex edit the binary to change some assertions in the code to be no-ops, but nothing helped at all. This game looks like it will be great once it doesn't crash constantly.

Very Interesting
I finished playing last night. Is this the best game I've ever played? No, but HZD was definitely worth the money (caught it on sale for $39.99). The story is, to me, is very interesting. Playing as a post-apocalyptic character in a world where machines, built to resemble dinosaurs, are the character's quarry for different reasons (experience, crafting components, quests, etc) is cool. I love the data logs (audio & text) left behind from an all but forgotten world...I love the mystery this game adds. The graphics are stunning, the landscape and the machines are nicely detailed. LOL, you'd think the character's faces would be more realistic. To me, the human faces look a little "plastic" but that's certainly not a deal breaker. The voice acting is not bad and can sound a little corny at times (from all characters) but, again, not a deal breaker. The world is huge and there are plenty of quests to keep a player busy. I'm not really that wild about the skill upgrade system or being capped off at level 60 but that's just me. Still, it is fun getting there. You have to find campfires (a ton of them) for manual save points but the game does have an autosave feature which is really good because the game crashed on me a few times. After you find these campfires, you can fast travel from location to another, a huge plus. I gave this game a 5 star rating, even with its minor issues, because, for me, this game kept me interested during the entire story and is one of the games I really enjoy playing...this game was really fun for me to play so the minor issues are just that, minor issues. I know I'll play it again so, yeah, worth the money. I'm sure not everyone will dig this game like I do but I really did have fun playing it from start to finish. And that's what it's all about, having fun while you're playing games. Cheers!
