Holy Potatoes! We're in Space?!

The game is similar to FTL on many levels, but in terms of game design to empower players and their critical decisions FTL is the clear winner. I would recommend playing the game on normal mode, as the creators intended.

It's like someone sold me an isometric version of FTL, but replaced all the fun and challenge with puns and MOUNTAINS OF TEXT-DIALOGUE... Their previous game was more of a management type so jumping genres while keeping styles was a bit unexpected.

Got things really digging the art style and the proposed similarities to FTL gameplay. I was also really hoping for some cross over with Star Command as well. The isometric scenes are glorified menu backgrounds, the combat isn't tactical at all. It makes up for the hollow game play with nice shiney coat of paint, which is common for lackluster clones of good games. If you want a light-hearted romp with easy gameplay, this could very well appeal to you. But for someone like me who enjoyed FTL, I'll just go back to that. Disappointed as there was a lot of potential here.

Its like spacerogue and FTL only done right!

Can't say I'm enjooying this one. And the GOG version feels even worse than Steam one.
