Perfect 2nd Game to Hollow Knight
Game plays like hollow knight+. More difficult. Even better exploration. Even Better combat. It doesn't inovate on the formula though. So don't expect something different from hollow knight.

The Best Game After Hollow Knight
The Best Game After Hollow Knight I've waited years for this game as everyone else. And so far, this absolutely rocks! Go Team Cherry! We love Silksong! Update after having played the game through multiple times: Silksong is simply the best game ever made in the history of Indie Gaming. Team Cherry somehow managed to completely outdo themselves after creating what I used to consider my favourite game of all time, Hollow Knight. It is seldom possible to achieve such greatness for a second instalment of a game franchise/series but Team Cherry managed to do just that. They created something absolutely incredible and so I will never turn down any opportunity to sing praises about this game. Silksong has an astoundingly unique air to it. From the moment you wake up in Moss Home, you can feel that the world of Pharloom is vastly different to that of Hallownest. It is full of life, colour, music and personality. The enemies are all noticeably more difficult than the ones in Hallownest but you get used to it very quickly. You realise that you are no longer in a dying kingdom, where depression and hopelessness fills the air, but instead in a populated society, where civilisations and societies prosper and both hunter and hunted can co-exist. Discovering Hornet's past/backstory is an incredibly exciting part of the game, which the developers of Team Cherry managed to achieve wonderfully. No other game has made me drop my jaw and stop breathing while playing but Silksong has, on multiple occasions. The gameplay is slick, varied and easy to learn. There's so many things to do in Pharloom. Completing quests, exploring different areas, platforming (the platforming is the best part!!), mini gauntlets, boss fights and much more! For seasoned Hollow Knight players, this game is the ultimate challenge. Not too difficult, but difficult enough to make you want to overcome each challenge. In my opinion, Team Cherry absolutely nailed the difficulty levels with each and every single enemy in this game, regardless of how frustrating some of them may be. Christopher Larkin's compositions overwhelm you yet again, with feelings of hope, excitement, fear, desperation, heartache and extravagance. The musical score is simply stunning and one that will never leave one's heartstrings after tugging at it. Not to mention the crystal clear connections between the game's storyline, its connection to music, string instruments and their relation to Silk. The entire game is a masterpiece and I am so happy to be alive at a time when I can play such beautiful pieces of art. 5 stars. by a mile. If I could, I would buy it over and over again.

Much Excellence
Amazing game, great length. Was difficult at times especially with some standard enemies dealing 2 masks worth of damage, but worth the time and patience.
