Excellent so far, but overtuned
team cherry i am begging you to tone down the double damage and make the runbacks less punishing, i so very much want to play this game but i am not good enough at video games for this

Overhyped but still excellent
Selling this game for $20 feels criminal but in an age where every game company wants to charge me an arm and a leg for the most boring software possible, this is a blessing. This is nothing you haven't seen before, but it does everything in the genre of metroidvania so well that it feels genuinely fresh. My only real complaint with the game is that the cartographer NPC named Shakra is almost always nowhere to be found. I read online that you could summon her to the first town of the game at any point by ringing a bell on the platform she appears on, but so far i've never seen this bell anywhere in my game so i'm not sure if this is misinformation or a feature exclusive to the pre-release Gamescom demos. Overall the game is really fun, though you should go in expecting a challenging experience.

A Fine Work of Art!!
This game has had a lot of time, effort and love to craft it. I may suck at the game, but that's my problem. If you haven't bought Silksong yet, that's your problem! Solve it!!

Beautiful & Hard
Lots of love was put into this game and it shows. That, plus the fact that the gaming industry is mad about it's cost/value proposition is so satfying to both enjoy the game at launch and support the devs for it.

takes everything from the original game and reworks it to perfection and adds new things for players to experience. It is much harder than the original game so keep that in mind but overall its a great experience.
