As good as the first game.
A bit of a difficulty spike with learning Hornet's moves compared to the Knight's, plus the enemies pack a bit more of a punch but overall, it's a fun and beautiful game that challenges you like the first did. Excited to play more.

Best modern take on metroidvanias!
i am thoroughlt blown away by how great the characters, hornets moveset and all the improvements to the systems we all know from hollow knight. This is a very worthwhile game especially given its low pricetag and youll feel like it was made by a major studio.
