He who controls the swill controls the universe. It really is that simple.
An untapped supply of swill has just been discovered on the uninhabited archipelago of Saustralasia deep in the South Pigsific Ocean, and every Hog Nation wants the land as its own. Gone are the days of scratching around for drips of swill. Saustralasia’s 25 regions are drenched in the stuff, and the only way to ensure that no one else gets their filthy trotters on the delicious swill is WAR!
Your task will not be an easy one. To successfully conquer and exploit Saustralasia you will need to seek and destroy the enemy across each and every one of the archipelago’s six islands, from Hogshead all the way down to Arstria. Our resources are limited, you have to maintain a rather small army, but with every victory on the field of battle, your swine will learn more skills and acquire the use of a wider range of weaponry.
There will be slaughter and butchery. Your job will be to bring victory to your chosen nation, to save your own bacon and make a meal of your enemies. With victory comes great reward. So great in fact that your brave boars will be as happy as pigs in… well, you get the idea.
Explosive 25 level single player campaign and an addictive online multiplayer mode for up to four players.
Arm your hogs to the teeth with a choice of 40 different weapons including sniper rifles, bazookas, mines, jetpacks, cluster grenades, and tanks.
Fight for one of six different pig armies, each one based on a real nation from the First World War-era: Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Japan, France, or the USA.
Customize your squad as you promote your hogs from Grunt to Officer in one of four different classes - Heavy Weapons, Medic, Espionage, or Engineer.
Cheeky sense of humour brought to life by the vocal talents of renowned British comedian Rik Mayall.

Sadly enemy AI is broken and are essentially turrents. However the game is still a better 3D Worms than the actual 3D Worms games and the late great Rik Mayall is brilliant throughtout. Just buy it for hot-seat multiplayer with friends and family and avoid playing singleplayer.
Actually, this is a great game, but sadly it's unplayable due to glitches regarding video and audio. I don't think that this will some day be fixed, knowing that nobody has the source code of the game. It really is a shame, because the game is really great when it works properly. The Steam version is no different btw.
I loved the PS1 version of this game.
The music, the voice acting, the video clips and pretty much everything was about as perfect as the genre has gotten.
I can get over all the little bits which are awkward or not quite up to scratch on the PC version, but the lack of AI movement kills the game.
Instead of moving around the map and interacting with the environment to best attack your pigs they remain in position only rotating to aim.
This starts of as dumbing down the game play hardness, but soon moves to making the game extremely difficult (not in a good way) to unplayable.
Some of the maps have the starting positions for the AI as hard or impossible to reach for the player, but a good and varied starting position for the AI. By remaining static classes which should rely on melee range fire aimlessly. The player has the same issue when using those classes against that position.
Maps which should be about racing the AI to equipment and vehicles become extremely one sided.
I bought the game with the intention of completing the campaign a few times and playing multiplayer with family like I did with the PS1 version years ago, but I could only get to about half a dozen level in until the AI issue became too much.
Avoid if you liked the original PS1 release as it will just tarnish the good memories.
Back in the days of PS1 I loved this game. One of my faves and funny in the same sort of way that 'worms' is. Honestly, I'd waste entire days making HE pigs using bazookas and rifles and grenades which actually require practice and skill to master. When I found it on GoG I was ecstatic but unfortunately, this game is not being sold on GoG in a playable state, as far as I'm concerned.
Not having original code isn't a good enough excuse, if they can't recreate it in a playable sense then players are really only buying it purely as a nostalgia trip (me in other words). That is why it has a one star rating and I am NOT recommending to buy it.
My maps are patchy at best, the game is riddled with lag and stuttering plus serious loading issues. It cannot be enjoyably played in my opinion and was no where near ready for a re-release without proper adjustments. Absolutely do not buy this if you value your money even a little bit.
Seeing it in my collection only really makes me wish I could actually play it. I really wish I could give it a wholehearted recommendation.
This game was an absolute gem once upon a time.
Sadly, it is no longer supported, and does not work on Windows 10.
No, not even with "compatibility mode" tricks.
Graphics are buggy, surfaces disappear and are replaced by "water" (which can still be walked over) etc.
Do not buy unless you have an old computer.
