GOG sells a 20 year-old game (Hitman Blood Money came out in 2006) still with bugs... Seriously now?! When you select normal difficulty level for 7 save slots, you get 3 instead, as if you had selected expert difficulty level. But when you select expert level as some troubleshooting advice suggests to get the actual normal difficulty level because allegedly they were swapped in some versions of the game, you still get only 3 save slots. The crosshairs of your weapon move in a randomized grid, so you cannot precisely aim at anything. The mouse will just jump a few pixels. This alone makes the game almost unplayable. The patch that GOG provides creates a new player profile named "Hitman" that simply overwrites your own player profile and erases all your saved progress with it. No warning, just deletes your saves. If you delete the "Hitman" profile, it is automatically recreated. This "hotfix" does not even fix the save slot / difficulty level bug or the mouse problem. There are a lot more problems, like broken key bindings, broken ingame mechanics, etc. But GOG puts a cap on the length of reviews. So long story short: Do not buy this version. I was already fed up with it after only 1 hour and am going to ask for a refund.

I would've given it a higher rating, but it just doesn't want to play ball with my laptop. Even with d3d9 wrappers. It crashes after the tutorial mission, and when using dgvoodoo it crashes when changing the settings. I have tried compatibility modes, admin rights, SLI settings, nothing. A shame really. Just keep that in mind if you're going to buy it although it costs almost nothing.

I spent an hour messing around with the settings on this game so it would play full-screen, but it kept crashing after the tutorial mission. So I finally got that fixed, only to discover that the game had reverted back to a partial screen. But that's not all! I found the controls very clunky and imprecise, and my saved games kept disappearing. I will definitely not be revisiting this series.
