When Erathia's King Gryphonheart is murdered by traitors he is resurrected as an undead warlord who leads a ruthless invasion of his former Kingdom. Little resistance is met until his daughter Catherine, Queen of Enroth, returns to her homeland commanding an army of elite Enrothian warriors. Meanwhile the Necromancers raise large hordes of undead and advance towards the Erathian capitol. Queen Catherine receives the aid of her father's survived generals and embarks on a crusade to reclaim her lost land.

Best Heroes Game Ever Made
With the random map generator and endless of scenarios as well as codes if needed, this game is by far one of the funnest and well developed Heroes Games of all time. I still play this game 20 years later and enjoy it.

Best game of the 90's?
Been playing the series since Hereoes II was released in 1996. Switched to Heroes III when it was released and the expansions just made it better. I have tried the newer ones, but Heroes III is the O.G.! Amazing game that will always have a place in my heart. <3
