When Erathia's King Gryphonheart is murdered by traitors he is resurrected as an undead warlord who leads a ruthless invasion of his former Kingdom. Meanwhile the Necromancers raise large hordes of undead and advance towards the Erathian capitol. Worth every penny.
This game will have you hooked and playing it for HOURS. The main campaigns alone will take you many hours and there are many other maps for a simple single campaign and a random map generator so you'll have a different experience every time. It even has a level editor. Bottom line, great fun, and super high replay value which will keep you busy for many, many hours.

Best game I ve ever play
I played 10 years DotA 1 , 3 years DotA 2 , 4 years LoL and 2 years HoN...but quit all of them except Heroes of Might and Magic 3

The game that got me into games
I just turned 25 and experience what you may call a quarter-life crisis. Nostalgia hit me hard and I found myself digging out Age of Empires, Return to Castle Wolfenstein and, of course, Heroes. This is a great game. Colourful, beautifully made and with deep strategy. It requires deep thinking and, even in 2015, it is still immensely enjoyable!
