Heroes of Hammerwatch

As some others have mentioned here the controls have changed somewhat from Hammerwatch and not in a positive way, for me this means a keyboard and mouse combination in order to control the character, if I had a duel stick I'd try it but I dont think I'd fare any better, Key board is the usual WSAD keys for movement direction but unlike Hammerwatch the character DOES NOT FACE THE DIRECTION OF MOVEMENT and instead relies on a difficult and not very intuitive combination using the mouse as a pointer for facing (changing the contols to different setting via the game menu didnt improve the situation) and other keys for skills requiring sometimes a three handed operation... add to that the slow attack speed response which in this case is by using the left mouse key and death is almost instant at game start.. I've just played my way through both Hammerwatch campaigns and had no real problem using solely the keyboard. So one to miss unless the controls change I think.... .-)

Just really very little fun, compared to what I felt it would be. Get hit once by an enemy beginner level maggot/insect/thing? Oh even though you're level 3, lose half your life due to poison dmg. I disliked just about everything about this game.

The game itself is fine. The developers are ***holes... Playing this thing is only about dying and grinding Ending in wasting your lifetime to achive nothing... Some of the game concepts are just bull**** Taxing? Needing luck to get my hard earned cash and ore back home because sometimes you wont have any elevators in 10 coming levels? Addidional stuff and items are ridicously expensive. A 100000 coin bird which is senseless, slower than me picking up my cash and ore? For what did I need to save a week to buy that crap? If you like to be punished, made fun of, wasting your lifetime... This is your game...

Requires GOG Galaxy to play multiplayer. What a shame.
