Description
In the world of the Heretic Kingdoms, a world where God is dead and religion heresy, you are cast as a young female inquisitor, working to stamp out the last remnants of religion. On instructions to destroy a relic which the Inquisition considers to be a significant threat, you are drawn into a war between two warring secret societies – a conspiracy of mages whose goal is true power, and a shadowy cult who seeks to resurrect the Dead God.

As the story progresses, you will be placed in an amoral world and left to decide your own morality. Just like the real world, your actions have consequences, and it is up to you to decide if you can live with them or not. Play as an altruistic heroine, a vicious and selfish egotist, or just a woman trying to get her job done – your actions will lead you to one of six different endings depending on where you decide your loyalties lie. Will you crush religion underfoot, or become its savior? Only you can decide!

Buggy Mess

I really have nothing bad to say about this game except that it's a buggy mess, I'm more than 8 hours into it and my save file become corrupt one time (force me to replay an hour or so of the game), I lost, without any logical reason, my magic ability attacks - basically making me defenseless and on top of all I've encountered a bug that crash the game in one of the main quests. I did enjoy playing it until all those bugs prevented me from doing so.

What a pity a game

Although I only spent 0.6 dollars to buy this game, it still doesn't feel worthwhile to me. If you can accept the rough interface in the game, terms without meaning, strange task guidance and strange hand feel, you can try it. PS: I only played this game for three hours. It is worth mentioning that the system concept of the game is very interesting. It constantly urges you to use new equipment. When you change from heavy armour to light armour, you even feel that your attack speed is faster. (in fact, I want to give one star, but it seems that one more star is added to the relatively interesting system.)

GOG Rocks

cHave been wanting to replay this game for years. Asked GOG to try and find it a couple of months ago, and in time for Thanksgiving they have delivered. That's why GOG is so Great. And thanks to everyone else who facilitated getting the rights. I am ecstatic to be able to play again this great game, vastly underrated. A true gem!

Disappointing

I thought this was a hidden gem, but it wasn't. Maybe I gave it too little time and it may actually be good? I played the first 45 minutes but I never got hooked. If only the fighting part would have had more "feeling". I want to smash my sword against an enemy so that the enemy flies away with a nice and nasty sound. But there was not even any "on hit" sound effects? And the enemies did not react at all when they were hit?! Only when they died. I did not get the attonments at all. If I'm going to play this game, then fix a normal skill tree and also what I mentioned above. I'll uninstall the game meanwhile. Music and graphics was good and I saw a great potential, but no. Not finished.

Practically unplayable

I really like the sequel, but "Inquisition" is more or less unplayable on both my computers because dark triangles that pulsate hectically block the image. This nuicance varies between thin slivers of black that show up, change form and move around ... up to large areas that block 4/5 of the main-screen.
